Rabbi Jennifer E. Krause is a speaker and educator, and the author of The Answer: Making Sense of Life, One Question at a Time (Perigee). Her writing and commentary have been featured in Newsweek, The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Time.com, O, The Oprah Magazine, O’s Big Book of Happiness (Oxmoor House), and O’s Little Guide to Finding Your True Purpose (Flatiron Books). Dubbed “one of NYC’s Hippest Rabbis” and “the Jewish Katie Couric” by WNET’s MetroFocus, Jennifer has appeared as a frequent host and moderator at Manhattan’s 92Y, where she also served as the High Holidays rabbi–the first woman to hold that post in 92Y’s 140-year history. Jennifer received her BA, with Honors, from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MA and Rabbinic Ordination from the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion. She lives in New York City.
